The Pop-Up Globe make 99% of the costumes used in their productions. Even though it is live Theatre, what is produced in the workroom has to be of a film quality and the workroom is run as such. The actors walk among the audience, have no lights or black box to disguise anything. The costumes have to be made to withstand an outdoor 3 month season and tours beyond that, detail, beauty and quality are key elements in this and the design.
