Envy Studios is a multi-media boutique post-production facility. We specialize in enhancing your project with exceptional sound & vision across all platforms: TV, film, advertising & digital media. Our acoustically designed, floating sound studios, Avid, Premiere & Resolve suites, and our hugely experienced, friendly team are located in a heritage building, in Britomart, central Auckland. We create the right environment to produce outstanding work for our New Zealand and International clients.

Specialties
AUDIO POST: 5.1 surround mixing for cinema, voice recording, ADR, ISDN, Source Connect, sound design, foley, spatial audio, music composition and music licensing.

VIDEO POST: editing, visual effects, motion graphics, 3D, grading, finishing.

We have three purpose-built audio suites with spacious recording rooms as well as a sound edit room designed to cater to all your sound requirements:

- Cinema mixing in 5.1 surround with large projection screen (powered with AVID Pro Tools HDX)
- Foley room with a walking pit
- Remote connections via ISDN, Source Connect Pro, and Skype. (Picture-lock ADR sessions are a specialty)
- Music sourcing and licensing, original composition
- Large scale IVR production
- Spatial audio encoding (Ambisonics) for VR and 360 videos to be deployed on Youtube and Oculus (Gear VR) platforms.

Picture editing, grading & finishing are sorted with our fine operators, Avid Media Composer with Symphony, Premiere, After Effects and Da Vinci Resolve.

- DCP creation and Cinema tests
- TV Commercial QC & dispatch with loudness compliance
- Archive to LTO6 data tapes. (NZFC requirement)
