Chantelle Gerrard's Film/T.V. credits include construction for 'Game of Thrones' and 'The Martian', as well Costume Design for the feature film ‘Insatiable Moon. She was Head of Wardrobe for the Pop-up Globe in Auckland, and designer 10 of their shows within their 5 seasons.
Chantelle's career spans 20 years and she has worked across all areas of costume production and management in that time.
She has designed for and been workroom and wardrobe supervisor overseeing the costume production of most in-house productions that the Pop-Up Globe have produced since it's inception in 2015.
In 2016 she Designed 'Mary Stuart' while in London, and was Wardrobe Supervisor for 'Billy Elliot' in Auckland. Chantelle is a specialist in Historical Costume and this worked in New Zealand, Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The Pop-Up Globe make 99% of the costumes used in their productions. Even though it is live Theatre, what is produced in the workroom has to be of a film quality and the workroom is run as such. The actors walk among the audience, have no lights or black box to disguise anything. The costumes have to be made to withstand an outdoor 3 month season and tours beyond that, detail, beauty and quality are key elements in this and the design.
Chantelle also has over 5000 costume pieces and accessories from different time periods in her collection and can cater for any budget or style.
